Kim Smith
A fourth-generation business owner and second-generation licensed general contractor, building and business is all she knows. Kim is our owner and the license holder for KO Smith Co. In case you might be wondering, the “O” stands for “Overton”, her foundation, her maiden name.
Upon graduation from East Carolina University, following her desire to design and draw she began a career in building across North Carolina, Virgina and Tennessee. Her career has given her opportunities to design and build from the mountains to the coast.
She has a strong passion to get to know her clients, learn how they live and design a home functional for their needs.
Kim lives in Morehead City with her husband Craig, their daughters Julia and Claire, and two dogs. They love life on the water and enjoy being together.
Chandler Fulcher
Chandler has over two decades of experience in the building industry, having witnessed the growth and transformation of his local area since the late 90s. As a lifelong resident of Morehead, he has always cherished the laid-back lifestyle and close-knit community bonds that the area offers.
His passion for construction extends beyond the mere act of building; Chandler finds immense satisfaction in providing personalized, one-on-one experiences for each client. From initial plans to the final touches, he takes pride in bringing their visions to life, ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standard.
Outside of work, Chandler finds joy in spending time with his wife, Christina, and their three daughters, Cydney, Charli, and Caroline. Together, they embrace the warmth and sense of belonging that Morehead provides, making cherished memories within their beloved community.
Eli Grimes
Eli was born and raised in Raleigh, NC, and began his career in construction there as well. Eli has worked tirelessly over the past few years to learn all aspects of the business; taking a hands-on approach to gain immense knowledge of the industry.
With familial ties to Carteret County, Eli made the decision to move to Morehead City in 2023 with his girlfriend and two dogs, Otis, and Ruger. They enjoy fishing, hunting, and spending weekends on the water, and are excited to call Morehead City their home.
Brianna Griffin
Brianna grew up here on the Crystal Coast, graduating from high school at West Carteret in 2017. She has always had a passion for taking care of others, whether that was babysitting, volunteering at church, or working as a CNA.
In 2020 after a huge career change, Brianna committed herself to mastering every office role, ensuring the seamless operation of administrative functions. She has assumed nearly every conceivable office position since that time.
Brianna currently resides in Newport with her husband Brandon, her two boys Carson and Tucker and their two dogs. They enjoy spending time on the boat with friends and family!
